Hi, I’m Mai. Nice to meet you.

Fifteen years of product design across mobile, web, and wearables. Most recently I led design at Continual — an AI agent platform for automating business workflows — building the product experience from the ground up. Before that, everything from health apps and shopping tools to productivity platforms and education products, often as the only designer on the team.

That work gave me something most designers don’t have: experience designing for AI, not just designing with it — thinking through how to make agents feel trustworthy, predictable, and useful to the people using them.

I love design and everything that goes with it — the early brainstorming and sketching, figuring out the flow, the visual design and interactions, putting the final touches on something, iterating based on data and feedback. Every bit of it is fun, exciting, and a great challenge.

Along the way, apps I’ve worked on have crossed 10 million combined downloads, and a few have been recognized as Editor’s Choice or Best New App by Apple and Google — which is the kind of thing that doesn’t get old.
